History
The original structure on Lovitt Avenue was built in approximately 1891. In years past it had fallen into disrepair and became a blight on the surrounding area. In 2006 The Second Chances Program received a grant that allowed complete renovation of the home. The exterior and first floor were restored close to its original condition. This 4,500 square foot home has 8 bedrooms including one that is handicap accessible and refinished wood floors in the common areas. The renovation took about one year and welcomed it's first resident in December of 2006.
